From 14th to the 19th
July, the dynamic shops and eateries of Shipston-on-Stour are
running the “Shipston Fish Fest”. This follows the great success of
the “Shipston Summer Strawberry Sensation” held around the town in
June.
This week-long event
focuses on all things fishy; from prepared fish dishes, seafood
restaurant meals, fish & chips, fresh fish, wine to drink with fish,
fish art, ornamental fish, fish toys, and fishing clothing! The
event really shows the diversity of what is available in this
stunning little market town that is proud of its independent
businesses, such as a Fishmonger, a Toy Shop, an Aquatics Centre,
and a Wine Merchant, all of whom offer great service in unique shops
you will not find anywhere else. Taste of the Country will be
sampling some of the fish dishes they prepare and there will be
special offers on all week in many of the shops.
By getting a Fish Fest
Card marked by three of the business involved, visitors will be
entered into the FREE prize draw with prizes from each of the
businesses worth a total of over £100.
Come to Shipston-on-Stour
for a really fishy experience in the week of Monday 14th. – Saturday 19th.
